Karan Topiwala is the Founder and Partner of Ananta Partners. He is a qualified lawyer and company secretary, admitted to practice in 2018, with over eight years of experience advising on capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings, further public offerings, rights issues, qualified institutions placements, open offers and buybacks of equity shares. He has advised issuers, promoters, investment banks and marquee investors across a wide range of sectors, including consumer goods, renewable energy, defence, real estate, infrastructure, automotive components, chemicals, healthcare, pharmaceuticals and early stage ventures.

Prior to founding Ananta Partners, Karan practised at IndusLaw and J. Sagar Associates, where he was closely involved in some of the most significant capital markets mandates of recent years. His approach combines regulatory precision with a practical understanding of transaction timelines, qualities that have made him a trusted adviser to founders and financial institutions alike.

Bharat Mordani is the Cofounder and Partner of Ananta Partners. He qualified to practise law in 2015 and brings over eleven years of experience advising on the full spectrum of Indian equity capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings, further public offerings, rights issues, qualified institutions placements, exit offers, offers for sale, bulk and block trades, and buybacks. He has advised issuers, promoters, investment banks and marquee investors across information technology, real estate, defence, infrastructure, retail, cement, healthcare, financial services, pharmaceuticals and telecommunications.

Before cofounding Ananta Partners, Bharat practised at AZB & Partners and J. Sagar Associates, two of India's most respected corporate law practices, where he developed a rigorous grounding in transaction structuring and regulatory strategy. He is known among clients for his command of the finer procedural detail that determines whether a listing proceeds smoothly or stalls.
